Milenium

In the threads of every piece of the KUNA Milenium collection, a memory is woven that transcends time. This collection has been curated with Museo Larco in honor of its 100 years of history. It draws inspiration from pre-Columbian mantles and looms of Peru, paying tribute to cultures such as Paracas, Mochica, Chimú, Chincha, Lambayeque and Huari.

Each piece is more than a design gesture: it is an offering to more than 6,000 years of textile history, a silent language woven with respect and admiration. The pieces in this collection are crafted in alpaca fiber and silk, which today become a contemporary canvas.

A work by Leo Ugarte for KUNA

The illustration shows all of Peru's pre-Columbian cultures, their place in time and their location relative to the coast, as well as the materials they used in their different looms.

The collection features 6 pieces that are exact replicas of the pre-Columbian mantles exhibited at Museo Larco, as well as reinterpretations in alternative colors. Ancestral iconography takes on new life, reminding us that heritage is not only preserved — it is projected into the future.
